Verilife to Welcome Record Dispensary Crowds as Adult-Use Sales Commence in Maryland
Westminster, Maryland (June 30, 2023) – PharmaCann Inc., one of the nation’s largest privately held, vertically integrated cannabis companies and an original Maryland licensee, welcomes new cannabis consumers to its Maryland Verilife medical marijuana dispensaries as sales of recreational cannabis begin on Saturday, July 1. The two Verilife medical cannabis dispensaries will now serve consumers, 21 and older, alongside patients at both locations.

With the launch on July 1, Maryland will become the most recent eastern state to create a recreational cannabis market. Maryland is expected to be one of the smoothest, most efficient rollouts, with sales reaching $1 billion by 2024, according to data analyst firm BDSA. The launch of the Commonwealth’s adult-use cannabis markets comes after voters approved a ballot measure in the November 2022 election legalizing cannabis possession and adult-use sales.
Verilife’s two dispensaries in the state have been in operation since Maryland launched its medical cannabis market in December 2017.
